Hi IPET-MDRD colleagues,
I learned that the 5th Assessment Report of IPCC Working Group I has Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) for each chapter/summary/annex.
You can find it at download page
http://www.climatechange2013.org/report/full-report/
-> Citation List
http://www.climatechange2013.org/images/uploads/WGIAR5_Citations_FinalRev1.pdf
For example, the entire book has doi:10.1017/CBO9781107415324 and the Summary for Policymakers has doi:10.1017/CBO9781107415324.004. The resolver http://dx.doi.org/10.1017/CBO9781107415324.004 redirects to the landing page at the Cambridge University Press.
DOI is common now in research journals, but this is the first time I hear that a WMO publication has DOI, and it is also interesting that a two-level granularity is prepared for entire book and chapters.
Just FYI,
Eizi
